Astonishing autumn holidays in South Tyrol

During your autumn holidays in South Tyrol you will admire fruit plantations, vineyards and chestnuts trees. In the surrounding nature of the village of Natz and around our Walderhof apartments thousands of leaves will shine in every variation of red and mountains will be sparkling under the sunlight. Moreover, the sweet fragrance of apples and grapes will delight your senses. Their unique scent is due to our sun-drenched position on the South of the Alps.

In Autumn is time for Törggelen

While in autumn our apple high plateau shows its most joyful colours, various hikes offer a really special pleasure. Matching these hikes with “Törggelen”, you will enjoy a unique culinary pleasure. A lot of agritourisms, as well as we at Walderhof, serve in their taverns the new wine made with the fresh harvest of grape. For children there will be delicious grape juice. Hosts will bring on their tables various South Tyrolean culinary specialties as well as roasted chestnuts. Some hiking paths will bring you directly in front of many taverns. For example you can enjoy the Törggelen season on the „Keschtnweg“(chestnuts path): with its 60 km, you can start from Vahrn and arrive till Runkelstein Castle near Bozen, hitting many agritourisms on your way.
